Lucille M. Sullivan, with her husband, Brian Glenn, have built, own and operate Navillus Dressage & Sport Horses, LLC. A 14-stall dressage training facility in Rutherfordton, NC. We are committed to providing excellence in horse care, training and development of the dressage horse.  Lucille is a USDF bronze and silver medalist and a graduate of the USDF L education program with Distinction.  She is currently working toward her Gold Medal and the continuation of her judging education with her goals set on eventually being an “S” judge. 

Navillus Dressage & Sport Horses, LLC is home to a busy training program with many young horses and adult amateur clients working to achieve their goals. It is also home to a small Hanoverian breeding program with an emphasis on correct movement, trainability and character. 

We are preparing our June 2019 colt, Pikko Del Esperando (Pikko Del Cerro/Contucci/Vienna Waltz) for inspection and approval with the ISR/Oldenburg Registry in September, 2023 and participation in the North American Stallion Testing in October, 2023.  Our homebred 2018 mare, Raziela NDSH (Rubignon/Contucci/ViennaWaltz) is currently under saddle with her 2023 filly, Sarabi NDSH (Sanceo/Rubignon/Contucci) at her side.  In 2022 Raziela NDSH had a beautiful filly by Bingotti (Bugatti/Krack C/Lector). Additionally, the leased mare Dona Rosa (Don Principe/Regazzoni/Argentan I) foaled out a beautiful black colt by Bingotti (Bufatti/Krack C/Lector).

Lucille’s emphasis is on patient, classical dressage education; she currently trains with Lenoria “Button” Baker and Jody Jones-Lees “S” Judge. USDF Gold medalist and “S” judge.  During her career Lucille has had the good fortune to train with, and host clinics for; Pam Goodrich, Brian MacMahon Scott Hassler, formerly the USDF young horse coach, and to host a clinic with Andreas Hausberger, Chief Rider – Spanish Riding School. She has ridden in clinics with Robert Dover, Andreas Hausberger, Alfredo Hernandez, Lendon Grey, Anne Gribbons, Axel Steiner, Volker Bromman, Debbie McDonald, Eric Horgan, Jan Brons, and others.
